Sugar price increased by Rs2 per kg

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has failed to stop the price hike of sugar as it is hiked by Rs2 per kilogram in the last two days.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, after increasing Rs2 on the kilogram, the new prices of sugar reached Rs110 per kilogram in Karachi city.

It is pertinent to mention here that the price of sugar during the PTI-led government's three years in power also experienced a large increase as the commodity that was available in 2018 for Rs55-59 per kg and now sells at 110 per kg.
