Met Office issues third alert for Hurricane “Rose”
The Meteorological Department has issued a third alert for Hurricane “Rose”, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Sunday.
According to the report, Hurricane "Rose" has been moving west over the West Central Bay of Bengal for the past 12 hours.
The Meteorological Department predicted that the Hurricane "Rose" was located about 2200 kilometers away from Karachi at 18.3N and longitude 87.2E.
So the department declared that the hurricane would not make any threat to Karachi, Gwadar or any other coastal area of Pakistan.
As per the report, the hurricane would cross India from the northern Andhra Pradesh-Orissa coast by Sunday night.
