Hindu pundit exposes PM Modi’s lie over water issue 

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is fooling the masses by doing politics over the water issue, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday. 

Now people from within India have started questioning the authenticity of the Indian government’s claim that it will stop the release of water into the rivers flowing to Pakistan after suspending the Indus Waters Treaty. 

Sources told the 24News TV channel that a Hindu pundit had said that India did not have any arrangement for blocking the flow of water from the River Indus to Pakistan. “If India works on that, it will take it 20 years to do so,” sources said while quoting the pundit.

The pundit had asked, they informed, Modi why he was lying to the masses on the subject. “This means you are fooling the people of India.”

Political analysts, on the other hand, have said that the Indian prime minister is politicizing the water issue just for the sake of winning the upcoming elections.
