Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi has issued the order to dissolve Punjab Film Censor Board (PFCB), 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.

According to a notification issued by the Punjab Information and Culture Ministry on Jan 27, pursuant to the direction of Chief Minister Punjab, Chairman Chaudhry Gull Zaman, Abdul Wasay Chaudhary Vice Chairman and nonofficial members of the board have been de-notified. The nonofficial members include Ammara Hikmat, Juggan Kazim, Abid Rasheed, Ali Tanveer, Zaigham Gondal, and Fatima Ahmad Khan.

It is pertinent that Punjab Information and Culture Department updated the members and office bearers of PFCB on November 18, 2022.
