'I built it on my own', Saheefa Jabbar pens powerful note on growth
Pakistani model and actress Saheefa Jabbar Khattak has taken a heartfelt trip down memory lane, reflecting on nearly a decade in the public eye while sharing powerful lessons about resilience, self-worth, and the importance of never compromising on one's values.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Saheefa penned an emotional note, looking back on her journey since entering the entertainment industry in 2015. She admitted that years of being in the spotlight have preserved not only her achievements but also her mistakes, personal growth, and the challenges she faced along the way.
"Oh my God, I've come so far. I've been in the public eye since 2015, and so much of my life has been documented. You can literally see my mindset evolve, the mistakes I made, the interviews I wish had gone better, the countless times my words were taken out of context, and the moments I was taken for granted. But above all, you can see someone who never stopped growing."
The actress expressed immense pride in her accomplishments, emphasizing that she carved her own path without influential connections or financial backing.
"I'm incredibly proud of everything I've achieved, especially because I did it on my own. I had no godfather in the industry, no family money, no elite education backing me. Just persistence, resilience, and an unwillingness to give up."

In a follow-up story, Saheefa shifted the focus from her career to the life lessons she has learned over the years. While acknowledging that she has made mistakes, she said her greatest regret was never failure itself but compromising on the things that mattered most.
"Do I regret things? Yes. But not the mistakes. The only thing I'll ever regret is compromising, compromising on love, respect, and the things my heart knew weren't right."
Encouraging her followers to prioritize themselves, she urged them never to sacrifice their peace, dignity, or self-worth for anyone else.

"Choose yourself. Don't compromise on the things that define your peace, your dignity, or your self-worth. One day, when you grow old, I don't think you'll regret the risks you took. You'll regret the times you made yourself smaller, worried too much about what others thought, and forgot to choose yourself. You are, and always will be, the most important person in your own life."
