Dacoits robbing a battery shop in Malir City Monday shot down by shopkeeper from behind door while accomplices ran away, reported 24News HD TV channel.

The police stated that four robbers on two motorcycles tried to rob a battery shop in Malir City. Two stood outside the shop at guard while two armed robbers went inside.

The burglars made everyone in the shop raise their hands at gun point and searched the cash counter. The shopkeeper suddenly opened fire at the perpetrators from behind a painted door and hit him in the back.

The robber took a number of bullets and succumbed to the shots trying to escape the shop while his accomplices fled away leaving him behind.

The corpse of the deceased perpetrator was transferred to the hospital.
