Pakistan Stock Exchange made history on Thursday when the KSE-100 index shot up by massive 1,500 points, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

All previous single-day records of trading were thrown out of the stock exchange as over two billion and 120 million shares were traded in one day.

The stock exchange also set a record on Wednesday when the number of traded shares was one billion and 560 million.

The shares mostly traded on Thursday were of low value with WorldCall company's 930 million shares traded hands in one day.
