MPA Hina Parvez Butt draws marriage lessons from ‘Dare Nijaat’ storyline
Pakistani MPA Hina Parvez Butt has shared her thoughts on navigating sensitive issues in marriage, stressing the importance of trust, honest communication and mutual understanding when a spouse’s past or a previously hidden matter comes to light.
Taking to social media, Hina shared a glimpse related to the ongoing drama serial Dare Nijaat and accompanied it with a personal message about relationships and the challenges couples can face after marriage.
Reflecting on the impact of past relationships or personal secrets being revealed, Hina said that such revelations can affect a marriage, but reacting impulsively or making decisions in anger is not necessarily the solution.
She advised couples to communicate openly and address difficult matters together instead of resorting to concealment or dishonesty.
“After marriage, if something from the past or an old relationship, or any secret, is exposed, it can have an impact on your relationship,” she stated.
Hina further stressed that misunderstandings should be resolved through conversation rather than blame, urging spouses to listen to one another and try to understand their partner’s perspective.
“In such situations, making decisions in anger is not the solution. Husband and wife should talk openly with each other. Instead of hiding things or lying, they should try to sort out the matter. If there is a misunderstanding, resolve it through communication. Listen to your partner, understand them and do not indulge in a blame game,” she said.
She also cautioned against repeatedly bringing up a spouse’s past and using it as a source of taunts or resentment in the present relationship.
According to Hina, a lasting marriage requires more than simply staying together, as trust, respect, sincerity and positive behaviour are essential to maintaining a healthy bond.
“Do not repeatedly taunt your partner about the past and damage your present relationship. Marriage is built on trust and can only be sustained through trust, respect, sincerity and good behaviour,” she added.
Her remarks come as Dar-e-Nijaat, which airs on ARY Digital, continues to generate discussion around relationships, personal choices and the consequences of past decisions.
