Pakistan’s golfer Ahmad Zafar Hayat wins Singapore Open Senior Amateur title

Pakistan’s golfer Ahmad Zafar Hayat has clinched the Singapore Open Senior Amateur title, finishing at the top of the leaderboard after a strong three-round performance.

Hayat finished the championship with an aggregate score of 223 to claim the overall title. He carded rounds of 73, 74 and 76 across the three rounds, finishing seven over par.

Another Pakistani golfer, Brigadier (Retd) Omer Ejaz, secured third position overall. He recorded rounds of 77, 80 and 72 for an aggregate score of 229, finishing 13 over par.

Muhammad Abdullah Mannan was the third Pakistani golfer competing in the championship. He posted scores of 82, 86 and 82 to finish with an overall total of 250.

The Pakistani senior amateur golfers travelled to Singapore on September 20 to compete in the championship. Hayat’s victory and Ejaz’s third-place finish gave Pakistan two strong finishes in the overall standings.

Hayat’s title was the highlight of Pakistan’s campaign, while Ejaz also secured a place on the podium with his third-place finish.
