Banking hours changed due to coronavirus

The business hour for all the banks has been changed due to the third wave of the coronavirus, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel Wednesday.
The banks will now remain open from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm from Monday to Thursday while for Friday the timings will be 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The banks will be opened for public dealings from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm while the public dealing hours on Friday will be observed from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.
Earlier, the banks were observing a timing of 10:00 am to 4:00 pm with public dealing hours till 2:00 pm in the holy month of Ramazan.
However, the government has ordered all the offices to observe a timing of 9:00 am to 2:00 pm with 50 percent staff working from home as the third wave of coronavirus continues to intensify in the country.
The State Bank of Pakistan has issued a notification regarding the new bank timings and has ordered all the banks to implement the new timings.
