PA passes universities’ three bills with majority votes

Punjab Assembly (PA) Tuesday passed the bills of three universities that were approved by the standing committee for higher education.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) member Sajid Ahmad Khan Bhatti moved the amendment bill to the University of Central Punjab.
The assembly also passed the Noor International University Bill and the Salar International University Bill by majority votes.
After approval from the Standing Committee on Higher Education, the bills were tabled in the House.
The Punjab Assembly also approved all the proposed amendments. The PA Tuesday session was presided by Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
