An important development in Amer Balaj Tipu’s murder case came to surface on Wednesday as the investigation team arrested his old friend Ahsan Shah, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to sources in police, Ahsan Shah was arrested on the charge of giving information about Ameer Balaj’s movements.

Ahsan Shah was not present in Pakistan at the time of the murder, said the sources but they divulged that Ahsan Shah gave information to the accused from Saudi Arabia and told them that Ameer Balaj had gone to attend a marriage.

Ahsan Shah was arrested from home by the investigation team.

However, Lahore Police failed to arrest the main suspects of the murder case.
