Woman, two daughters slaughtered in Faisalabad
A woman and her two little daughters were slaughtered in an attack by unidentified persons at a village in Faisalabad on Friday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The horrific incident was reported from Chak 632-GB in Faisalabad’s suburbs where the attackers used a sharp-edged weapon to kill 25-year-old Irum and her two daughters – five-year-old Kiran and two-year-old Fatima.
A team of cops from Lundianwala Police Station rushed to the crime scene, took bodies into its custody and launched an investigation into the gruesome murders.
Fugitive dacoit killed in encounter
A dacoit on the run was killed and his companions escaped in an encounter with police in Faisalabad.
The alleged shootout took place within the precincts of Battala Colony Police Station where the police was taking a dacoity accused for recovery when he broke the shackles and escaped.
During hot chase, four people opened firing after coming face to face with the police. In retaliatory firing, the dacoit was killed and his companions escaped.
The police have arrested dacoit Azhar Iqbal a few days back and he confessed to dozens of crimes including killing a citizen while committing a dacoity.
The police were taking him for recovery of the looted goods when Azhar Iqbal jumped out of the police van near Allama Iqbal Colony and escaped.
SHO Battala Colony Police Station Ayub Sahi cordoned off the whole city and launched a man hunt for the dacoit.
On Friday morning, four men came face to face with the police and opened fire and Azhar Iqbal was killed in police’s retaliatory fire.
