Three kidnappers of trader killed in Lahore encounter

Three suspects who had kidnapped a trader for Rs50 million ransom were killed in a police encounter in the Burki area of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to police, accomplices of the in-custody suspects fired shots at a team of the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Cantt.

The CIA team’s mobile was damaged in firing by the accused, and, the in-custody accused were killed during the exchange of fire.

The deceased accused were identified as Abdul Rehman, Tahir and Fiaz. They had been declared proclaimed offenders. A few days back, they kidnapped a famous trader in Lahore for Rs50 million ransom.
