11 ‘inefficient’ cops suspended in Lahore

As many as 11 policemen who were performing their duties at Cantt Police Station were suspended due to inefficiency and providing wrong information, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to details, raids were conducted after obtaining wrong information from Cantt Division Police Station.

A case was filed against Station House Officer (SHO) Irfan and other members of the raiding team. The case was filed on behalf of Sub-Inspector Mushtaq.

Sources said that a team of police, which was headed by the SHO, raided the house of a high government official.

The SHO raided the house after getting approval from the Superintendent of Police (SP) Cantt.

SHO Sarwar Road also registered a fake case after raiding the house. SHO Irfan and other SHOs and policemen were already given a charge sheet.
