Young man dies after being hit by train in Jhelum

A 26-year-old man died after being struck by a train while crossing a railway track in Sohawa Tehsil of Jhelum district, according to an eyewitness.

The eyewitness said the young man was crossing the railway track while wearing earphones and apparently failed to hear the approaching train coming from behind.

The train hit the man, killing him on the spot.

Following the incident, the body was shifted to his home.
