The drivers of Lahore’s Metro Bus have once again brought the service to a halt as a mark of their protest on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The drivers were protesting against the non-payment of gratuity, bonus and allowances. They also stopped busses at 2pm on Saturday to register their protest.
The drivers also staged a protest on Sunday outside the Metro Bus Depot.
A spokesman for the bus drivers vowed that the service will remain shut until Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar gives them assurance about the payments.
