Punjab government announces Inter-University Board for medical education

In a revolutionary move, the Punjab government has announced the formation of an Inter-University Board of Government Medical Universities of the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Thursday.

The Board will be chaired by Nominated Member of Vice Chancellor Board of all Government Medical Universities, who has been appointed as the Chairperson of VCUHS Inter University Board for one year.

The Inter-University Board will ensure uniform quality of medical education and consolidate the Post Graduate Training Program of the University.

This is a significant step towards improving the standards and outcomes of medical education in Punjab.
