A six-year-old boy lost his life during a bloody clash between two rival groups in Peshawar, reported by 24NewsHD TV on Monday.

An orphan, Afan, was the only child of his mother. The deceased caught up in indiscriminate firing between the two groups and died.

A wave of grief and sorrow gripped the area. Residents of the area demanded that the police take measures for the early arrest of the culprits who were involved in this heinous crime.

Police failed to arrest any accused involved in this incident till the filing of this report.

In October 2025, a violent clash between two student organizations at Islamia College Peshawar led to an exchange of gunfire that left two students injured.

According to the college administration, the confrontation began as a political dispute between members of rival student groups.

During the altercation, aerial firing broke out inside the college premises, causing panic among students and staff.
