Justice Ameer Bahatti appointed as new LHC Chief Justice

President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi has appointed Justice Muhammad Ameer Bahatti as the Chief Justice of Lahore High Court.
Justice Ameer is the senior most judge of the Lahore High Court and will assume his duties as Chief Justice of Lahore High Court on July 6 upon the retirement of Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan on July 5.
The Law Ministry has issued a notification in this regard.
