Gunmen storm house in Kashmore, beat family, kidnap teen boy

In a shocking late-night incident, over a dozen armed unidentified bandits raided a house in the village of Qazi Kalwar, a suburban area near Kashmore, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday. 

According to the report, the gunmen tortured the family, including women and children, and abducted a 15-year-old boy, Waras Ali Kalwar, before fleeing the scene.

According to family members, the armed assailants held them hostage at gunpoint before forcibly taking away the teenage boy. 

“They beat us, locked us down, and kidnapped Waras at gunpoint,” one family member said while recounting the horrifying ordeal.

As the heavily armed assailants opened indiscriminate fire while retreating, a young passerby was severely injured in the gunfire. 

The injured child was immediately shifted to Rahim Yar Khan in critical condition.

Police have launched an investigation into the attack. Authorities are currently probing whether the incident was an act of organised banditry or motivated by personal enmity.
