A 15-year-old girl Samar Farooq who was kidnapped from Jamshed Quarters in Karachi has been recovered from Lahore on Sunday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the abducted girl was safely recovered in a joint operation of CIA Police Lahore and the Jamshed Quarter Police Station Karachi.
As per the report, Samar Farooq was abducted on May 14, 2022, from Jamshed Quarters in Karachi and a case was registered at the local police station. 
Investigation Police East Karachi in collaboration with CIA Lahore conducted an operation in the Ghaziabad area of Lahore and rescued the abductee safely.
SP Investigation East Karachi Altaf Hussain has said that the recovered girl is being transferred to Karachi for further legal action.
