Prime Minister Imran Khan Monday said that unfortunately Muslims are ‘mentally slaves’ due to colonialism and the largest issue being faced is a leadership crisis, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The premier was addressing a gathering at the inauguration of an academic block of Al-Qadir University in Jhelum on Monday.

Imran Khan also shed light on reasons why the country's education system is behind in compression to other countries. The premier said that three different education systems were the prime reason for this.

The university will provide world level education facilities for boys and girls in Islamic teachings, mysticism and modern scientific research. The educational programme of Al-Qadir University will also focus on building leadership qualities in the students as well as their character in the light of Seerat-e-Tayyeba. The existing capacity of the academic blocks is five hundred students, which will be enhanced in phases.

PM Khan said that people knew him long before he came into politics. He highlighted the benefits of the power of emaan.

Sharing his views on leadership qualities, Imran Khan said that a coward and selfish person could never be a leader and only an honest and one who provides justice could become a leader.
