The government on Thursday increased the prices of the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by Rs22 per kilogram.

The new LPG price is now Rs112 per kilogram. As a result, the price of a cylinder for domestic use has gone up by Rs245. The new price of a 11.8kg domestic cylinder is now Rs1,322. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has notified the increase in the LPG prices.
