The prime minister also directed to give the right of vote to the expatriates. He ordered the finalization of EVMs’ brand with the consultation of the Election Commission. The parliamentary affairs advisor was given an order to finalize the changes in the law for electronic voting machines.
Ministry of Information Technology has already hired the services of a consultant for the election voting system. The consultant will give a report on the security and design of machines within a month.

They give examples of Kenya and Ghana where electronic voting machines were hacked and the results of the election were changed.
