Boy molested by prayer leader in Lahore mosque

A mosque prayer leader physically abused an 11-year-old boy in Baghbanpura area of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Baghbanpura Police registered a case against the accused and according to the FIR accused Qari Amanullah molested 11-year-old Hussain, who went to the mosque for prayers. 

When the family came to know about the incident, a complaint was filed with the mosque administration and the police, text of the FIR said.

According to SP Cantt Qazi Ali Raza, police registered a case against the prayer leader after initial investigation.

Accused Qari Amanullah, who molested an 11-year-old boy has been arrested and remanded in custody, SP Cantt said.

The child had gone from home to offer prayers, so accused Amanullah lured the child and made him a target of molestation, the SP Cantt said.

A case was immediately registered against the accused Qari Amanullah on the complaint of the victim's father Muhammad Jamshed, SP Cantt Qazi Ali Raza said.
