A number of teams of the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Navy are continuing relief operations in Karachi as the city is still trying to recover from urban flooding triggered by heavy rains this week.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, engineers of the Pakistan Army have cleared the KPT and Civic Centre Underpass of rainwater. Areas like Golimar and Mohsin Bhopali Underpass have also been cleared of rainwater, while work is underway at Gizri Underpass to drain out rainwater. Army’s mobile vehicles are taking part in relief operations in various rain-hit areas of the port city and trying to drain out the rainwater as soon as possible, the ISPR said.
