Earlier, in the day, she travelled to Murree from Lahore by road. During her journey, Maryam had a pleasant encounter with some PML-N sympathisers and had a brief chat with them during a brief stopover at Bhera.
After this episode, Maryam said that people of Pakistan still love Nawaz Sharif and want him to return home and take control of the national affairs. She wrote on Twitter, “People love Nawaz Sharif more than ever before. They want him back, not only in Pak but in the driving seat to put Pak back on track. Literally everyone present at Bhera where I stopped for lunch flocked to me & inquired after MNS and pledged their support & affection.”
