Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has extended the corona SOPs temporary travel restriction on passengers coming from category-C countries till September 30th, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Director Air Transport Irfan Sabir issued the notification that stated that restrictions on passengers coming from Category-C countries would remain the same.

Category-C listed 15 countries including Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq, Nepal, and South Africa and passengers will also have to comply with the quarantine requirement upon arrival in Pakistan.

As per the notification, passengers from Category-C countries will need a special permit to enter Pakistan.

However, passengers coming to Pakistan from categories A and B will only have to undergo corona tests 72 hours in advance.
