Pakistan reports 66 more deaths, 3,800 new coronavirus cases
Pakistan reported 66 more coronavirus deaths and 3,800 new cases that emerged during the last 24 hours (Sunday), showed the data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Monday morning.
According to the statistics released by NCOC, after the addition of 66 new deaths, the toll has now surged to 25,670, which represents a ratio of 2.2 percent.
The positivity ratio of the coronavirus cases in Pakistan has reached 6.75 percent, as 3,800 new coronavirus cases emerged in the last 24 hours after conducting 56,279 tests. It takes the total cases tally to 1,156,281 that returned positive after conducting 17,704,220 total tests so far.

The number of active cases in the country is 93,690 with 5,612 patients in critical condition.
There were 3,548 more recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours as the number of total recovered cases reached 1,036,921 with an 89.7% recovery rate.
Punjab, the most populous province of the country, has reported 1,609 new cases in the last 24 hours, taking the provincial tally to 391,297 with 25,203 active cases. In Punjab, 24 more patients died of coronavirus as the death toll reached 11,823. With 1,940 new recoveries, 354,271 patients have recovered from the virus in Punjab so far.
Sindh has recorded 1,172 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the provincial tally to 430,594 with 50,778 active cases. With 22 new deaths related to the deadly disease, the death toll in Sindh reached 6,834. With 255 new recoveries, 372,982 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recorded 622 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 161,381 with 7,896 active cases. The province reported 17 new virus-related deaths as the death toll reached 4,944. With 689 new recoveries, 148,541 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Balochistan has recorded another 43 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 32,200 with 529 active cases. The province reported no new death as the death toll remains 338. With 74 new recoveries, 31,333 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Islamabad has recorded 212 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 98,951 with 5,843 active cases. With 2 new deaths reported in the Federal Capital, the death toll reaches 863. With 250 new recoveries, the number of recovered patients is 92,245 in the federal capital so far.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir
Azad Jammu and Kashmir has recorded 127 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 31,988 with 3,026 active cases. With 1 new death reported, the death toll reaches 695. There were 317 new recoveries in the AJK as 28,267 patients have recovered so far from the virus.
Gilgit-Baltistan recorded 15 new cases during the last 24 hours, as the tally reached 9,870 with 415 active cases. With no new death reported in the province, the death toll remains 173. There were 23 new recoveries as the number of patients recovered from the deadly disease reached 9,282.
