Flood emergency declared in Chiniot District

The local administration on Friday declared a flood emergency in the Chiniot district keeping in view the large scale destruction caused by the floods in Punjab, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday. 

According to the report, educational institutions across the district will remain closed on August 30 (Saturday). 

The decision to close government and private educational institutions was taken in view of the flood situation in the district.

Chiniot Deputy Commissioner Safiullah Gondal on Friday issued a notification in this regard.
