A passenger train derailed at Mian Channu Railway Station on Thursday and luckily there were no casualties, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Khyber Mail Express going to Karachi from Lahore when it went off track and derailed at Mian Channu Railway Station.

The train driver claimed that the derailment occurred after the brake vacuum failed to work. However, railway authorities said an investigation was underway to ascertain the cause of the accident.

Rescue teams of 1122 rushed to the accident site but there was no report of any casualties.
