UET extends semester break by one week, classes to resume on Feb 9

The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) has extended its semester break by one week, postponing the reopening of the campus and the start of classes, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday. 

According to the notification issued by the UET administration, the university will now reopen on February 9 instead of February 2, while academic activities, including classes, will also commence from February 9.

Registration for the Spring 2026 semester has likewise been rescheduled to February 9, the administration said.

The extension will apply to all academic programs, including morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend classes.
