Lahore likely to receive monsoon rain today

Rain or wind-thundershower is expected in Kashmir, upper Punjab, Islamabad, and coastal districts of Sindh on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In Lahore, strong windy weather decreased the hot temperature and there is a 70 percent chance that first spell of current monsoon rain spell may occur in the metropolis today.
Met Office informed that moist currents from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal entered in upper parts of the country from Wednesday which might intensify and expand to southern parts of the country by the end of this week.
Hot and humid weather is expected in other parts of the country, while very hot in upper Sindh and south Punjab
In Samundri (Faisalabad), the weather office predict that mercury could go up to 42 degrees Celsius.
In past, 24-hour weather: Hot and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very hot in upper Sindh and south Punjab.
Wednesday recorded the highest Temperature (°C): Nokundi 48, Sibbi, Jacobabad, Dadu, Nurpur Thal, and Bannu 46.
Under the influence of this, the expected weather will be as under Rain-windstorm/thundershower is expected in Islamabad, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Swat, Mansehra, Kohistan, Abbottabad, Haripur, Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sargodha, Hafizabad, M. B Din, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Jhang, T.T Singh, Okara, Sahiwal and Bahawalnagar from 30th June to 04th July. Isolated heavy falls are also expected during the period.
Rain-windstorm/thundershower (Isolated heavy falls) are expected in Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Dadu, Zhob, Ziarat, Barkhan, Loralai, Kohlu, Quetta, Kalat, Khuzdar, Lasbella, Naseerabad and Sibbi from 1st July to 05th July.
