The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Multan has arrested Mazhar Abbas, the main suspect in the mega corruption scandal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

He was appointed as Chairman of the Task Force for Food by former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

He is accused of embezzling more than two billion rupees in three years.

It was learnt that a bag of wheat flour worth Rs645 from flour mills used to sell for Rs1,100 in the market. 

Moreover, he used to get 2,000 to 5,000 bags of flour every day.
