Summer vacation announced for colleges, universities

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced summer vacations for public and private colleges, universities, and higher education institutes across the province, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday. 

According to an official notification, vacation will be observed from Jun 1 to August 15 in all public and private colleges and universities, higher education, archives and libraries department in the province. Colleges and universities in the hot zone will remain closed from June 1 to August 15. There will be 1-month holidays in the winter zone from July 1 to July 31. 

According to the announcement, the schedule of BS 4-year and associate degree programs or other examinations will continue as per the approved academic calendar.

The government has sent this notification to the Governor, Chief Minister, all administrative secretaries, vice-chancellors of universities, Higher Education Regulatory Authority and other relevant institutions.
