CAA bans air travel without coronavirus certificate from Oct 1

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a new travel guideline on international and domestic flights, banning travel without coronavirus vaccination certificates from October 1.

Corona PCR test will be mandatory at airports 72 hours before travelling to Pakistan from abroad while rapid antigen test has been made mandatory for passengers under 18 years of age. Only passengers with coronavirus vaccine certificate will be allowed till October 31.

Passengers coming to Pakistan from abroad will have to submit their details before travelling on Pass Track Application.

The passengers aged 15 to 18 years have been exempted from coronavirus certificates. The diplomats have also been exempted from taking rapid antigen test.
