Next court decision on LB polls will be fully implemented: PML-N

Ruling PML-N leader Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has declared that the next court decision regarding holding of local government elections in Islamabad will be implemented in letter and spirit, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to newsmen in Islamabad on Saturday, Tariq Fazal maintained had the voting, after amendment in the LB law, taken place today the term of the newly-elected LG representatives would have expired only after six days.
The newly-elected LBC representatives would not have enough time to elect mayors and deputy mayors, the PML-N leader said and added, it had been impossible to arrange up to 25,000 polling staff in one night after the court decision.
Fazal said whatever the next court order would be the government will fully enforce it.
Responding to a question, the PML-N leader turned his guns to the PTI, accusing the party of unleashing propaganda on the issue of LB elections in Islamabad.
He said after coming to power as a result of 2018 general elections the government had suspended the LG institutions in Punjab.
“Why did not they hold LB elections when they were in government,” he asked the PTI leaders.
He said the PTI is a party of liars.
