Police claimed to have arrested three suspected robbers at the Kimari shootout, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

Suspected robbers fired shots at police, SSP Fida Hussain said, adding that the lawmen retaliated and injured two of them.

The squad arrested them and recovered arms and ammunition from them.

A case has been registered and an investigation is on.
