Punjab CM election: Court to resume hearing of intra-court appeals tomorrow

The five-member LHC larger bench headed by Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan adjourned the hearing of intra-court appeals of Sabtin Khan and others tomorrow, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported Wednesday.
Additional Advocate General Jawad Yaqub and Assistant Advocate General Barrister Hassan Khalid Ranjha appeared on behalf of the Punjab government. PTI lawyer Azhar Siddique read out a letter sent to the President by the governor.
The court asked if the governor refused to take the oath of office and if the governor reject the election and the decision of the speaker.
The lawyer said that the governor did not delay taking the oath but he was thinking about the matter. The letter of the governor seems as if the president was giving instructions to the president, it was observed.

To what extent one can disregard the constitution due to immunity, PTI's lawyer said that if one does not abide by the the constitution in bad faith, the court can issue an order.
The court adjourned the hearing till tomorrow.
