Babar eyes trophy, credits team combination ahead of PSL final
Babar Azam, captain of Peshawar Zalmi, said his team is confident and ready to handle pressure ahead of the PSL Season 11 final, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday.
At a pre-match press conference, he said Zalmi has played very well in the tournament and performed strongly in batting, bowling, and fielding.
He said pressure is part of every match, including the final, but if the team follows its plans and stays calm, good results will come.
Babar praised the team’s combination, saying both local and foreign players have contributed to their success.
He said every team has a different approach, but Zalmi’s mix has worked well.
He also thanked the fans and said it was good to see them coming in large numbers.
He hoped the stadium would be full for the final.

Talking about conditions, he said the team will have to adjust according to different venues like Karachi and Lahore.
On his own performance, Babar said he kept things simple and focused on playing his natural game this season, which helped him perform better.
He added that criticism is always part of cricket, whether he performs well or not, but his focus remains on helping the team.
Babar said winning the trophy is every captain’s dream, and Zalmi can do well in the final if they manage pressure properly.
He also praised young players for their good performances throughout the tournament.
