IPP appoints Sardar Tanveer Ilyas as AJK president

The Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) has announced its new organisational leadership for Azad Jammu and Kashmir, issuing official notifications for the appointment of its provincial president and general secretary, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday. 

According to the notifications, former AJK prime minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has been appointed as President, and Nisar Ansar Abdali is named as the General Secretary of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party Azad Jammu Kashmir.

The appointments take immediate effect, with the official notifications bearing the signature of IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan.
