Court reserves verdict in bail pleas of parents of Noor murder accused

A District and Session Court in Islamabad on Wednesday reserved its verdict in the bail applications submitted by the parents of Zahir Jafar, main suspect in the daughter of ex-Pakistan’s envoy Noor Mukadam murder case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The court will now pronounce the verdict tomorrow (Thursday, August 5).

Earlier, counsels for the suspect’s parents and the prosecution gave their arguments for and against the bail petitions.

Suspects’ lawyers gave references of different cases and precedents on the occasion.

Zahir’s parents are currently at Adiala Jail on judicial remand.
