Raped infant girl died in Karachi

A one-and-a-half-year-old girl died in the hospital after being raped in Karachi, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Karachi Police said that the accused, who was later identified as Mannan, offered to let the girl accompany him for a walk from her house.
The girl was shifted to the hospital in critical condition. The doctors also confirmed rape of the infant girl.
Later, the accused tried to escape from the scene, but police arrested him from his house.
The accused was handed over to the relevant police station for further legal proceedings. Further investigation is underway.
