Best quality food being provided to PSL players in Lahore 

A team of Punjab Food Authority (PFA) comprising Additional Director and Deputy Director visited Pearl Continental (PC) Hotel in Lahore to check quality of food being provided to players who are participating in Pakistan Super League (PSL)-X matches, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday

 Director-General Punjab Food Authority Asim Javed that quality of all edible items from breakfast to meal were thoroughly checked during the inspection.

He further said that all kitchens, food processing and storage areas were comprehensively checked.

Director-General Punjab Food Authority said that all officials deputed at Pearl Continental Hotel ensured best quality of food for the guests and players.

He said that all necessary measures were adopted for food handling, preparation and serving and hygiene.

Director-General PFA said that food handlers were directed to ensure implementation of standard operative procedures SOPs.

Asim Javed said that international food protocols and standards were adopted to ensure quality of food.

He said that PFA teams ensured provision of fine quality food to PSL players which his also a part of Punjab Nutrition Programme.

Asim Javed said that provision of quality food is vital for players for  their outstanding performance in the games.
