Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid was one of the most cheerful and over-the-moon leaders in the National Assembly on Saturday when 178 lawmakers voted in favour of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The interior minister even made a lengthy speech after the vote of confidence and showered loads and loads of praise on Imran Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

But much to his chagrin, his beloved leader did not even lay his eyes on his interior minister, often found defending the prime minister and his party on whatever platform he finds.

When Imran Khan was leaving the House after delivering his speech of thanks, an enthusiastic Sheikh Rashid standing in the front row offered his hand to the prime minister but he did not respond and kept walking.

The poor Sheikh Rashid quickly withdrew his hand to hide the embarrassment.
