Punjab Govt to start solar panel manufacturing in collaboration with China

Punjab Government has decided to start solar panel manufacturing in Lahore in collaboration with China.

The agreement to this effect was reached during a meeting between Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Chinese leading business organization Sundar Green Group in Lahore today.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan is a large solar market and the shift toward solar energy is increasing due to the ongoing energy crisis.

Punjab Government also singned an agreement with the Chinese Kunlun Group to provide advanced vocational and industrial training to fifty thousand students in China.
