Prices of solar panels hiked

Bad news for consumers as the prices of solar panels have been hiked between Rs200,000 to Rs400,000, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Now the installation of seven kilowatts of solar system, which previously cost Rs0.9 million, will now cost Rs1.15 million.

Similarly, the installation of a system of 10 kilowatts, which previously cost Rs1.4 million, will now cost Rs1.7 million.

Likewise, a system of 12 kilowatts, which was earlier installed at the cost of Rs1.6 million, will now be installed at the cost of Rs1.9 million.

Moreover, the installation of a system of 15 kilowatts, which earlier cost Rs1.8 million, will now cost Rs2.25 million.
