The Punjab government has decided to hold school exams of class one to class eight in four phases amid the spread of COVID-19 fears, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
The Punjab School Education Department Exams said papers of grade one to grade eight will be held in the last week of May.
There will be 25 questions comprising 50 marks, each question will have two numbers, against a one-hour time duration.
Moreover, it has been decided that first and second grade children would be asked oral questions in the exam instead of written papers.
It may be recalled that Punjab Education Minister Dr Murad Raas in a recent press conference said that the Punjab government was making all-out efforts to facilitate the school-going children amid the pandemic.
