Human Rights Council terms US, Iran talks positive step

The Human Rights Council (HRC), Pakistan on Sunday termed negotiations between the US and Iran a positive step, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In its declaration, the council also praised Pakistan’s positive and constructive role, which brought both countries to a negotiating table.

It expressed the hope that there would be more rounds of talks between both countries.

The council said that Pakistan’s actions were a ray of hope for peace in the Gulf.

It said that negotiations already held had provided the basis for result-oriented talks between the US and Iran.

Human Rights Council of Pakistan is a non-political, non-governmental and a non-profit registered body.
